Questions about learning online.
Who is the online course for?
It's a conversion course for permanent make-up artists who already work on skin. A permanent make-up qualification is recommended, and insurance for fine line is available with at least six months of PMU or tattoo experience. Brand new to tattooing? The 4-day Beginners Training is the place to start.
Do I get a certificate, and can I get insured?
Yes. The course is IBA accredited and recognised by seven major insurance companies, and you receive a certificate on completion, so you can offer fine line legally and safely.
Can I really learn this online?
You already tattoo skin with PMU, so this builds the fine line craft on top: stencils, technique, products, and two full tattoos filmed start to finish. You practise on latex as you go. Prefer hands-on with live models? The in-person 2-day PMU course is there.
What will I need to get set up?
A fine line machine and practice supplies. Setup typically costs around £400 to £500, and the course gives you the exact lists of products and tools so you're not guessing.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access. You can revisit any lesson as many times as you need while you build the skill.
