BEGINNERS 4 day course

Your first day will be spent finding your bearings, learning about what fine line tattoos actually are and the theory behind them. Health and safety should be your number one priority so this will be covered, as well as how to set up your tray and studio. We’ll talk through licensing, insurance and the legal bits. You’ll also start getting to grips with some of the more techy side of tattooing, including Procreate and machine set up.

Day 1

Day 2 gets a little more hands on. Our second day together will see you designing and drawing out stencils and then applying them to fake skin and then on to eachother. A perfect stencil ensures the best start to your tattoo so you’ll want to be getting this right!
We’ll also cover needles, configurations and the best tools you’ll use to set you up for success.

In the afternoon you’ll test out your machine for the first time! Practising on fake skin and some unusual surfaces, we’ll work on your line work, depth and technique.

Day 2

Day 3

Today we’ll spend more time getting to grips with line work and technique. The morning will be spent on our trusty fake skin, then in the afternoon we’ll move on to your first live models. ( You must be able to source your own models.)

You’ll tattoo two designs of your choice. The nerves will be high but the adrenaline and the rewards of seeing your first finished tattoos will see you through!

Day 4

Our last day together!
Your fourth day will see more models to be tattooed to really give you the confidence to take your knowledge away with you to tattoo independently.

Once you’ve successfully completed your designs, we’ll then spend the afternoon giving you the best tips for success when it comes to social media and attracting your ideal clients.

Social media is such a huge part of our lives and a free way to generate a client base and following.

I will teach you everything I have learnt over the years and how I run a successful social media account amongst working full time and raising a young family.**

The passion and the understanding that tattooing takes time, commitment and patience. You will constantly be learning during every tattoo that you do. There is no quick fix and you must make a promise to yourself that after my training you will continue to practice every day.
